Everything was excellent and suited the needs. Thank you very much all for a thoroughly enjoyable stay for two nights. The staff was very friendly, as well as host. The room was big size and top-notch with a wonderful view of the mountains. Location: the hotel was close to Glenridding House in the near future, the falls, hiking/walking trails, and the shores. The place was near Lake View Lounge, where you can have dinner.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at this fine hotel. The moment we walked into our room, we were blown away by the amazing view of the lake and fells through the large window. The room itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts in the bay window overlooking the lake were a highlight of our stay. The location is picturesque and the host, Lynne, made us feel right at home. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we felt that this hotel was worth every penny. we highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and intimate retreat.

Our room had an unfettered view of the water, with the shoreline of Ullswater just a stone's throw away. the location right beside the lake was fantastic, and the views across the water were stunning.
The bathroom facilities were not up to scratch. the absence of a shower curtain in the bathroom made having a shower difficult.

Luxurious amenities, attentive service, stunning location This hotel was a true delight and exceeded all my expectations. the luxurious amenities, such as the exclusive private facilities in the room and the delicious breakfast served in the elegant dining room made my stay here nothing shy of exceptional. the stunning location was also a major selling point, offering panoramic views of the lake and fells from the comfort of my room.
Limited spa facilities the only downside to this hotel was the limited spa facilities. As a luxury five-star hotel, I expected more from the spa services in terms of variety and exclusivity.

The views of the lake and surrounding fells were breathtaking. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, just what we needed to start the day. The location was ideal for a romantic escape, with plenty of local pubs and cafes to choose from. We also appreciated the warm and hospitable welcome from the hosts.
The room was much smaller than we had expected and felt quite cramped. The bed was uncomfortable and we both woke up with sore backs.
